Description

LeGene 100 bp DNA Ladder is suitable for use as a molecular weight standard (100 bp-1,500 bp) for agarose gel electrophoresis. The DNA Ladder consists of 11 DNA fragments between 100 and 1500 bp in multiples of 100 bp. The 500 bp fragment has increased intensity as a reference band. The concentration of DNA is ~0.03 µg/µl. The approximate quantity of each DNA band is 12 ng each for 300, 400, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1500 bp, 30 ng for 100 bp, 18 ng for 200 bp, and 35 ng for 500 bp when loading 6 ul of 100 bp DNA ladder (~0.18ug). It may be desirable to increase the amount of loading for more visible bands for some applications.
